Theme for April 9 - Workshop: Effective Use of Powerpoint as a Visual Aid

Hi Night Visioners,

As per one of the brainstorming ideas among the executives, our club will have –or at least try to have– one special meeting per month, a meeting which focuses on practical skills related to communication, or a meeting of any kind that changes the routine and turns the house upside down.

So here we are: a workshop we will have on Thursday will focus on how to effectively use powerpoint as a visual aid to deliver a presentation.

As your chair, I will share some of my past training on the subject matter with you, but I’d like to borrow your knowledge to perfect this workshop. Please let me know if there is anything you learned in the past that is related to this topic. Good tips or lessons learned — please be generous and share with the group; this will be your intro.

Table topic master, please prepare some questions about powerpoint presentations or handling unforeseen situations when giving a presentation.

Because of this special theme, I only need one table topic evaluator and one speech evaluator role to be filled.
