Theme for March 12 - “A serious topic - The Seniors”

Hi NightVisioners,

I don’t remember which recent experience made me come up with this theme, but I’m going to carry on though it is a serious topic most of us don’t have to face yet.

Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter, nature has its rule for every living creature on earth to follow. Reluctant or not, fearful or fearless, our life has an end. The ten, twenty or magically thirty years we have before that end is what we need to look at.

My purpose of this meeting theme is for us to discuss the following:

1. How seniors in our individual culture are treated, traditionally and currently?

2. How you see and deal with your older generation’s senior life?

3. What kind of plan do you have for your sunset life?

Last but not the least, like every coin has two sides, I’m sure that beyond the reluctance and fear, there is beauty of that stage for us to realize and enjoy. I want those positive points to come up so that we have a complete picture of this subject!

Volunteering sign up ends by 11:59pm Tuesday night, and VP-Ed will sign people up after that point.
