Science Fiction- Imaginary drivel or a peep through the keyhole?
Jules Verne - considered by some to be the “father of science fiction” is the second most translated author of all time.
He wrote about technologies such as air conditioning, automobiles, the Internet, television, helicopters, submarines, projectors, and even jukeboxes before they were invented.
Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World, Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, Philip K. Dyck, H.G. Wells, 1984, Star Wars, Star Trek, aliens, Blade Runner, ET, Artificial Intelligence, time travel, nanotechnology, galvinization…
Is there the possibility these creative minds are giving us insight into the future? Or is science fiction exclusively for entertainment?
