This week’s meeting theme is Your dream job.

When you were a kid, did you dream of one day being a firefighter, or a jet pilot, or a… well, fill in your dream job here!  And once you grew up (for those of you who have grown up! :-) have your dreams turned to some other career?  Or maybe you’re already in your dream job?  I know when I was a wee lad, I always wanted to be a veterinarian, and I had lots and lots of different pets - everything from frogs to snakes to mice to cats and dogs.  But with time my interest changed from raising animals, to understanding what makes them tick.  (I mean in a scientific, not sadistic, way.)  My cat seemed to notice the change… and never quite looked at me the same way again.

Following up on Jenny’s email earlier, I’d like to suggest to our Table Topics Master - Robert Edwards - that the table topics questions be in the form of job interview questions. Consider it practise for your next job interview… or if you like, consider it a chance to say something you always wanted to say but never could in a real interview. :-)

For intros, please answer one of the following:
- What is a job you always dreamed of having, and why is that your dream job?
- What is it about your current (or a past) job that you really liked and made a real impression on you?
- What would you tell a friend about your current (or a past) job if they told you they were interested in applying for it?
