Hi NightVisioners,

Inspired by Kirk’s inspirational story two weeks ago, I’ve got this meeting theme.

The usage of vocal variety is somewhat a contradictory topic. Personally I am always confused by the following questions:

1. Vocal variety seems an effective delivery skill to spice up the message, but, can we use it in all kinds of speeches?
2. If yes, how do we use it in speeches like informative speeches?
3. Even in a regular speech where vocal variety has plenty of room to shine, how do we use it effectively or differently then we usually do?

The coming ‘Vocal Variety Workshop’ is designed to help new members start using this technique in their upcoming speeches and help experienced members who still feel it a challenge to improve (Myself, for instance).

I’m not going to reveal the format of this workshop, but one thing I can tell: It is interactive and full of fun, and effective learning experience is guaranteed!

So as usual, please sign up your favorite roles by the end of this weekend, or wait for your VP-Ed Ying or myself to sign you up after that…

Have a nice weekend!
Jenny
