• Dreading the idea of giving a presentation
at work or school?
• Expected to make a toast at your best friend’s wedding?
• Want to ace your next interview?
Come to Night Vision to overcome your fear of public speaking
and improve your communication skills!
Our Club…
✭ Is dedicated to public speaking excellence.
✭ Is fun, friendly, supportive & intelligent.
✭ Offers interesting meeting themes & informative workshops.
✭ Provides a mentorship program for new members.
✭ Is energetic & often irreverent.
✭ Enjoys frequent fun social events.
We also have President’s Distinguished Club status (not that we’re bragging!).
Our meetings…
Our meetings last about two hours, with a short break in the middle to chat and make new friends or ask questions. As a small, friendly—and decidedly unstuffy—club, Night Vision Toastmasters provides a great opportunity for regular people to get together once a week to support each other in developing our speaking and leadership skills. Both prepared speeches and impromptu speaking opportunities are normally part of the agenda, along with helpful evaluations. We also often have short workshops and superb guest speakers.
Our current members are an exciting mix of people, ranging from students and homemakers to entrepeneurs and a variety of professionals. (Minimum age 18, as per Toastmasters regulations)
When do we meet?
Every Thursday night at 7 pm.
Where do we meet?
Holy Trinity Anglican Church - 1440 West 12th Avenue (just West of Hemlock) Vancouver, BC
(For a map, click here.)
Please use the doors on 12th Ave next to the underground parking entrance. Take the stairs or elevator to the second floor and follow the signs to our meeting room. If you arrive late and find the doors locked, please call the phone number posted on the NVTM sign on the door.
Access by public transit: Take a Granville bus to 12th Ave and walk one block East, or take a Broadway bus to Hemlock and walk 3 blocks South.
